Description
Duncan House is an early 19th-century property situated on Lower Fore Street. It is constructed of pointed rubble with granite quoins, and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high, with an attic and basement. The garden front features three ranges of glazing bar sash windows, while the Fore Street elevation has an irregular arrangement, including one large sash window in the centre and an archway to the ground floor on the right. A portico porch with an entablature supported on granite Doric columns is located on the west return, leading to a six-panelled door with panelled reveals and a soffit.
