Description
This is an 18th-century headstone located about 8 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Gomonda in Roche. Made of slate, it features a nowy head with rounded shoulders and an incised border. At the top, there is a cherub's head within a shaped cartouche, with crossed bones on each side. The inscription is in cursive script and includes an admonitory quatrain, but the dedication is illegible. The headstone is dated 1740.
