Description
Raymonte House is an early to mid-19th century town house located on Higher Lux Street in Liskeard. The front facade is rendered over a probable studwork frame, with a shared slate-hung chimney stack on the right-hand side. The building comprises a single-depth front range and a wing extending at right angles to the rear right. It is two storeys high with a two-window front elevation. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes. A doorway on the right is topped by an open pediment, with missing pilasters, paired consoles, a reeded architrave to a panelled soffit, a frieze featuring a lozenge, and a dentilled cornice to the pediment. The original door has six panels and glazed top panels. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
