8/47 Quay and ramp approximately 250 - metres south west of Lower Calamansack

Quay and adjoining ramp on the estuary of the Helford River. Dated 1832. The quay is a granite ashlar slightly battered retaining wall with projecting coping. It is about 25 metres long and splayed back at the right end where there is a ramp also with a granite ashlar retaining wall. One of the granite blocks is inscribed "Jonathan Mayn 1832" in upper case lettering with serifs and with scrolls either side of the date.
