Description

The holy well head, located approximately 14 metres south-west of Ladye Park, has medieval origins and was constructed in the mid 19th century. It features slatestone rubble retaining walls that support a stone winder stair, which leads to an enclosed spring and sump. This area is protected by a wooden planked door from the 19th century.
