Description
The railway viaduct, built around 1887, serves as the second replacement for The Great Western Railway. It is constructed of dressed granite, primarily with a rockfaced finish, and is brought to course. The viaduct features seven spans with round arches that spring from tapered rectangular piers. It includes an impost string and a string below the coped parapet, with refuges located at alternate bays. The structure is situated in an unspoilt wooded valley.
