Description

This is an outbuilding, possibly a pump house, located about 10 metres southeast of the Crown Inn. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of slatestone rubble and cob, with a painted finish. The roof is hipped and covered with scantle slate, featuring ridge tiles.

The building has a small square plan and is low with a single storey. The front features a plank door with strap hinges and a timber lintel on the right, and to the left, there is a small two-light window with a wooden frame and a plain wooden mullion. At the rear, there is a single storey lean-to made of corrugated iron, which was added in the 20th century.
