Description
No. 2 Pike Street is a mid-19th century town house that has been converted into a building society. It features a stucco exterior on masonry and a dry Delabole slate roof that is hipped on the left side. The building has a modillioned eaves cornice and a shared stucco stack on the right, along with a cast-iron ogee gutter. The structure has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a three-window range. The original windows include hornless sashes with glazing on the upper floors. The second-floor windows are square with eared architraves, while the first-floor windows are tall sashes adorned with pilasters, consoles, and triangular pediments, both floors featuring sill strings on brackets. The ground floor was remodeled in the 20th century, now having two narrow doorways flanking a large glazed opening. The interior has not been inspected.
