Carnglaze Place is a building complex from the 18th or 19th century that includes Nos 1 to 4, No 8 with an adjoining store, and No 9 Bethesda Hill. The structure is built around a central yard and has cellars on the ground floor. It features rubble construction with granite quoins and lintels, and the walls facing the yard are partly hung with slate. The building is two storeys high with a basement and is situated on a sloping site, which requires external steps to access some entrances on the first floor. The windows are sash style without glazing bars, and the roofs are made of slate and corrugated iron. These buildings are part of a group.
