Description
Upper Welland Terrace, located on London Road, consists of two adjoining buildings, Nos 15 and 16, which date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. These three-storey structures are built of brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof and a brick parapet. Originally, each number had three windows, but No 15 now features only one window and has a full-height rectangular late 19th-century projection that is rendered. This projection includes a late 19th-century porch with plain pilasters and an iron guard. No 16 has a modern doorway and a bay window at the ground floor and basement levels. These buildings are part of a terrace that includes Nos 2 to 7 (consecutive), 7A, 8, 9, and 11 to 29 (consecutive), which form a group.
