Description
The barn adjoining to the northwest of Trenderway is likely a former stable and cartshed with a hayloft above, dating from around the 1840s. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a ragslate roof with gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with two window openings. On the ground floor, there is a cart entrance at the lower end, which has a dressed stone segmental arch and a double plank door. To the right, there are two window openings flanking a plank stable door. The first floor also has two window openings. Additionally, there are doveholes in the lower gable end and a stone flight of steps leading up to the loft at the higher gable end. This barn is included for its group value with Trenderway Farmhouse.
