Description

The inscribed stone known as the Castle Dor Stone is a tall standing stone dating from around 550 AD, made of granite. It features a tall cross in relief on the back. The front of the stone has an inscription in debased Roman capitals that reads "Cirusinius Hic Iacit Cunomori filius," which translates to "Trystan here lies of Cunomorus the Son." The stone is also scheduled as an ancient monument.
