Description
A row of three attached houses stands in Deer Park, Newquay, dating from the early to mid-19th century, with later 20th-century alterations. The houses are built of stone rubble with brick dressings, and have slate roofs with ridge tiles and gable ends. Number 11, on the left, is painted. A gable-end stack is located on the right, and an axial stack on the left, both with brick shafts.
The houses are arranged with a two-room plan, one room at the front and one at the rear. Number 9, on the right, is heated by the gable-end stack. Numbers 10 and 11 share the axial stack.
Number 9 has a symmetrical two-storey, two-window front. It features a 16-pane sash window with a cambered arch on the ground and first floors to the right. A 20th-century door is located on the ground floor to the left, and a blind window is positioned on the first floor to the left, painted to resemble a sash.
Number 10 is a two-storey house with a 16-pane sash window with a cambered brick arch at ground and first floor to the left, and a 20th-century door to the right.
Number 11 bears a 16-pane sash window at ground and first floor to the right, a 20th-century door to the left, and a 16-pane sash window at first floor left, all with cambered brick arches. All windows are 20th-century replacements.
The interiors have not been inspected.
