Description

A terrace of four small houses built in the mid-19th century. The facades are finished with a textured render, with slate hanging to the right-hand end. The roofs are covered in rag slate to numbers 18 and 24, while the others have asbestos slate. There are projecting eaves and brick end stacks, along with a central rendered stack.

The houses are arranged with a shallow-depth plan and stand two storeys high, with an eight-window front. They retain their original 12-pane hornless sash windows; the front doors are mostly original 6-panel designs, though number 20 has a 20th-century replacement. The original patterned overlights also survive. The interiors were not inspected.

The property includes a shallow forecourt with rubble walls and slate steps leading up to the doorways. Straight flights of steps lead to the houses on the right, with winder stairs to the others.
