House and front garden wall, originally house with integral shop. Circa early C19. Dressed granite brought to course, with granite sills and flat brick- arches with projecting granite keystones. Asbestos slate roof with brick chimneys over gable ends, cast iron ogee eaves gutter. Double depth plan with kitchen/living room left, originally shop, right, with cross passage between and shallower service rooms flanking stair behind. 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3 window east front with central doorway and the ground floor right hand (shop) window wider. Circa early-mid C20 top glazed door; 4- pane sash to ground floor left; 6-pane sash to ground floor right and the original 16-pane, hornless sashes to the first floor. Interior not inspected. Garden at the front is higher than the road and the battered retaining wall is of coarsed, roughly-squared granite with slightly projecting dressed granite coping. At the right hand side wall is a gateway with round headed granite monolith gate piers. An interesting rural village house with shop design and grouping with other buildings included in this list.
