Description

This is a headstone from 1776 located 5 metres south of the east end of the south aisle of the Church of St Martin in Lewannick. It commemorates Susanna, the daughter of Robert and Jane Peter. The headstone is made of slate and features a shouldered round head. It is inscribed with upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs and a verse. The sculptor T. Hender has signed the headstone.
