Description
TOWEDNACK TREVEGA SW 43 NE 4/224 Farmhouse and adjoining - outbuildings at SW 48153975 GV II Farmhouse and adjoining outbuildings. Circa late C18 extended in the C19. Stuccoed front, otherwise granite rubble with granite dressings, grouted scantle slate roofs with gable ends. Granite stacks. Cast-iron ogee gutters. Plan: Overall U-shaped plan. 2 room plan C18 house with central lobby and stair, circa early C19 dairy behind at right angles left hand room with later C19 cartshed beyond and returning right with stables and cartshed parallel to rear of house. Exterior: 2 storeys. Slightly asymmetrical 3 window west front with doorway left of middle. C19 4-panel door within C20 gable-ended porch. 4-pane horned sashes. Interior: little altered since the C19.
