Description

The railway bridge, built around 1860, is constructed from coursed greenstone rubble with limestone dressings. The north approach features a wide segmental arch supported by rusticated voussoirs and square imposts, along with a string course that includes a parapet and coping. The coped wall ramps down and is splayed to both the left and right. The south approach mirrors this design, with terminal piers at the ends of the ramped flanking walls, each topped with a pyramidal cap.
