Description
This is a pair of 18th-century headstones located about 11 metres south-south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Uvelus. They are made of slate and feature round shouldered heads with incised borders. The inscriptions on both headstones are obscured by lichen, but the right-hand headstone appears to commemorate the son of Thomas Hawke, with a date of 1776.
