Description

These are a pair of attached houses on Wilson Street, Bristol, dating from the late 18th century. They are part of a terrace, though the rest of the terrace extending to the right has been demolished. The houses are constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and have a pantile mansard roof. They are of a Late Georgian style, with three storeys and an attic, and feature a two-window arrangement.

The left-of-centre doorcase has a pediment and fanlight, framed by five stepped voussoirs above a six-over-six-pane sash window. The right return has a rusticated semicircular-arched doorway with a fanlight above a semicircular window.

Inside No. 1, a central dogleg staircase features a curtail handrail. Decorative details include fluted reveals to the semicircular hall arch, and panelled window reveals with shutters.
