They are designed in a late Georgian style and consist of three storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a two-window range. The houses are part of a stepped terrace, characterized by a ramped cornice and parapet, and have pedimented semicircular-arched doorways with fanlights and six-panel doors. The windows are six-over-six pane sashes with five stepped voussoirs. The interior was not inspected. The rebuilding was done to match the original design, maintaining the landscape value of the approach to Portland Square.
