Description

This is an arc lamp post located approximately 2 metres north of Northcote House in Clifton Park, Bristol. It was designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base that displays the City arms, and it is topped by a decorative bulb. The shaft leads up to a foliate top that curves into a half-circle, adorned with curly brackets supporting the lamp, which is decorated with a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
