Description
The stable block, located approximately 10 metres north of Clifton Wood House, dates from around 1725 and was built at the same time as the house. It features a rendered exterior with limestone dressings and a hipped roof covered in pantiles. The building has a single-depth plan and is a single storey with a six-window range. The stable block has a parapet and includes four keyed segmental-arched carriage entrances on the left, a segmental-arched doorway with a blocked architrave, and a 12-pane window. Above these, there are five keyed lunettes with casements. Inside, the floors are made of brick.
