Description
Clifton Hill Cottage is a house dated 1715, with a late 18th-century appearance. It is built of roughcast, featuring gable stacks and a pantile roof. The building has a double-depth plan, stands three storeys tall with a basement, and has a three-window range. The front is symmetrical, with a coped parapet and gables. It includes a timber doorcase with a pediment, panelled reveals, and a six-panel door with a glazed top pair. The windows are 6/6-pane sashes with exposed frames, and there is no central window on the second floor. Inside, there is a central stair passage with a fluted newel and turned balusters, along with a six-panel door.
