Description

This is a mid-to-late 18th-century house on Clifton Wood Road, Bristol. It is built with roughcast rendering and limestone dressings, and has a roof that is not visible. The house follows a single-depth plan and is designed in a Gothick style. The symmetrical facade has two windows. The right end features an elaborate Dutch gable with a doorway having a 2-centred arched top and a panelled door. Matching windows flank the doorway, both with lattice leaded lights. Above these windows is a tripartite window with 2-centred arched heads; the central casement has interlacing upper glazing bars, while the outer ones are blind. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
