Description

Numbers 2 to 12 Redcliffe Parade East form a terrace of 11 houses built around 1800. The houses are constructed of brick with limestone dressings, have brick party wall stacks, and feature pantile hipped roofs. They are designed as double-depth plan houses and exhibit a late Georgian style. Each house is three storeys high, with a basement and attic, and has a single window range. The houses are arranged in handed pairs, sharing a cornice and parapet. The raised, outer doorways each have bracketed pediments, batswing fanlights, and six-panel doors. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes with stepped voussoirs to the cambered heads. Dormers have casements.

Inside, the entrance hall features a stained glass screen and arched doorway leading to a central dogleg winder stair. The stair has stick balusters and column newels, along with six-panel doors and panelled shutters.

The property includes good front area railings and gates topped with urn finials, as well as steps leading down to the basement.
