Cave. Dated 1669. Rubble with limestone ashlar. Cave hewn from rock walls with a pointed-arched doorway. INTERIOR not inspected, but reported to have a plaque inside the door inscribed 1669/ HERE LYETH THE BODY OF CHRISTOPHER THE MONK OR CHRISTOPHER BIRCHEAD OF THIS CITY, MARINER, WHO DIED THE 16TH DAY OF THE 9TH MONTH '69. A concrete wall now blocks the entrance.
