Description

This is a gas lamp post located approximately 40 metres south of number 85 Alma Road in Clifton, Bristol. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features an octagonal moulded base, a shaft that culminates in a foliate capital, and is topped with three square lanterns. It has been converted to electricity.
