Description

This is a gas lamp post located approximately 3 metres north-east of number 39 on Cornwallis Crescent in Clifton, Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted shaft with a switch bar and has a square lantern that was added in the late 20th century. It has been converted to electricity.
