Description
The Old Castle Green Public House is a public house located on Gloucester Lane in the Old Market area of Bristol. It was built around 1710 and features a timber-framed structure with roughcast exterior and a hipped roof covered in pantiles. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high with a two-window range. The right-hand side has a doorway with a 20th-century door and canopy. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century plate-glass window with fluted jambs and a cornice, while the upper floors have plate-glass windows set in exposed frames. The interior has not been inspected.
