Description

No. 72 West Street is an attached house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of brick with limestone dressings, although the roof is not visible. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with an attic, featuring a one-window range. The shop front is from the 20th century and is parapeted above. The windows have cambered heads and five stepped voussoirs, with a plate-glass sash on the first floor and a 6/6-pane sash also on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
