Description
This building is a cottage located at 27 Mariners Drive in Bristol, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared Lias stone and features a central brick stack with a thatched roof, reflecting the cottage ornee style. The cottage has a square, single-depth plan and is a single storey with an attic, comprising a two-window range. A central 20th-century porch leads to a pointed door, which is flanked by pointed paired casement windows that have Y mullions. There are also central, narrow pointed lunette eyebrow dormers. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage was originally built as the Lower Lodge to Old Sneyd Park, which has since been demolished.
