Description

This is an arc lamp post dating from 1898, designed by H.F. Proctor. It is made of cast iron and features a fluted base with a panel that displays the city crest. The lamp has a tapering shaft that leads to a decorative top, which is shaped like a half-circle and includes a curly bracket with a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped and is located approximately 2 metres west of Number 7 on The Paragon in Clifton, Bristol.
