Description
This is a pair of attached houses located on Coldharbour Road in Bristol, dating from the early to mid-18th century. The houses are constructed with roughcast over rubble, featuring ridge stacks and a hipped pantile roof that slopes to the right. They have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high, with each house having a one-window range. The central doorways are low and paired. On the ground floor, the right-hand side has a horned 2/2-pane sash window in an exposed frame, while the left-hand side features a 20-pane window and small casements located under the eaves. There is also a small round window on the first floor in the left return. At the rear, there is an outshut. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are notable as uncommon examples of 18th-century artisan homes that have survived within the densely built-up area of the city.
