Description

This is a terrace of three houses located on Coldharbour Road in Redland, Bristol. They date from the early to mid-18th century. The houses are constructed with roughcast rendering over rubble stone at No.3, exposed rubble at No.4, and a pantile roof with ridge stacks. They are arranged with a double-depth plan to each property. Each house is two storeys high, with a single-window range except for No.5, which has two windows. The doorways are low, positioned on the right-hand side of No.4, the left-hand side of No.3, and in the left return of No.5. The ground floor windows are 2/2-pane sashes in exposed frames, with small casements located under the eaves. The interiors have not been inspected. These houses represent a relatively rare survival of artisan housing within the urban environment.
