Description
A pair of attached early 19th-century houses located in Clifton, Bristol. The houses are stucco-faced with limestone dressings, featuring gable stacks and a pantile mansard roof. They were extended to the right in 1987. Built on a double-depth plan, the houses display a late Georgian style and have a symmetrical front with pilaster strips to a moulded coping, with raised ends. The paired doorways have raised surrounds with imposts, a cornice, and raised panels above. The rectangular overlights have metal frames with a central round pane flanked by lozenge panes, reeded transoms, and 6-panel doors with reeded lower panels. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes, with a blind central first-floor window. The interior includes a central lateral dogleg staircase with stick balusters, a ramped rail, column newels, and 6-panel doors. The houses have a cellar and attic.
