Description
10 and 12 Clifton Road are a pair of attached houses built in the late 18th century. They are rendered with a concrete tiled roof and have a double-depth plan, showcasing a late Georgian style. The buildings rise three storeys and an attic, featuring a five-window range. On the ground floor, there are projecting 19th-century shops with panelled pilasters that have carved capitals beneath consoles supporting the facias. The shops also include semicircular-arched plate glass windows and paired four-panel doors. The houses have cornices, parapets, coped gables, and a party wall. Each house has six-over-six pane sash windows, with two on each house and a central one on the second floor, along with two dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
