Description

Number 14 is a house dating from around 1800, situated in Clifton, Bristol. The building is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings, featuring gable stacks and a pantile hipped roof. It follows a double-depth plan and is designed in a late Georgian style. The three-storey house with a basement has a three-window front. The narrow sections at either end are set back from the symmetrical front, which is characterised by a plat band, fluted cornice, and parapet. The raised, right-hand doorway is semicircular-arched, with imposts, a bracketed pediment, stepped key, a fanlight with interlacing glazing bars, and a six-panel door. The window openings contain 6/6-pane sashes, with cambered heads to the two basement windows. The interior of the property has not been inspected. Attached to the basement area and entrance steps are cast-iron railings.
