Description
Cemetery Lodge is a 19th-century building designed by architect Benjamin Ferrey. It is constructed in the form of a gatehouse, featuring an arched, off-center, gabled entrance that leads into the cemetery. The lodge is made of stone with ashlar dressings and has a tiled roof, showcasing an asymmetrical design. It has one and one-and-a-half storeys. The entrance includes a ground floor window with a relieving arch above it and a gabled dormer. There is also a further window in a one-storey lower outshut, and to the right of the entrance, there is a single low window. The Cemetery Lodge, along with the two chapels and the boundary wall, forms a group on Jumpers Road.
