Description

This is a street lamp located approximately 2 meters north of number 35 on Market Street in Poole. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp features a round plinth with a decorated panel and a band that includes shells and the arms of Poole. Below the column is an enriched band, and the column itself has decorative spiral binding. The lamp is supported by scrolled brackets and has a tapered square shape with a cap and finial at the top.
