Description

No. 8 Purewell is an early 19th-century facade attached to an earlier building. It features painted brick and a tiled roof with a large, off-center chimney. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows, including one blank window on the first floor. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The door and ground floor windows have cowered heads. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 6 (eastern part only) to 16 (even) and the Bridge Furnishing Factory, as well as Nos. 9 to 13 (odd) opposite, with Nos. 6 (eastern part only) and 10 to 16 (even) being of local interest.
