Description

The Laurels consists of two houses that were originally part of a single dwelling, built in the early 19th century. The structure features coursed rubble with freestone dressings and slate roofs that have raised coped verges. It is two storeys high and has four windows. The first-floor windows are sashes set in plain architraves, while the ground-floor windows have been reglazed with margin bars. The house on the right (No. 1) includes a 20th-century glazed gabled porch, and the house on the left (No. 2) has a four-panel door located behind a porch supported by Doric columns. There are later additions and extensions, including No. 3, which were all once part of the original house called The Laurels but are not of special interest.
