Description

Batch House is a late 17th-century house located on Park Road in Paulton. It is constructed of rubble brought to courses with freestone dressings and has pantile roofs. The building has a T-plan and stands three storeys high, featuring three windows, all of which have 2-light moulded mullions; however, the ground floor mullions are missing. The central door, like all the windows, is situated under a floating cornice. At the rear, there is a lower gabled wing that includes a 3-light window and a tall side stack. The interior is inaccessible, and the building was noted to be empty and decaying at the time of the survey in October 1985.
