Description
Haydon Farmhouse is a mid-18th century building constructed of coursed and dressed rubble, topped with a slate roof featuring coped verges and three brick chimneys that have replaced the original ashlar chimneys. The farmhouse has two storeys and a gable-lit attic. On the first floor, there are four windows with modern two-light stone mullioned casements; while the mullions are modern chamfered replacements, the edge roll surround has been retained. The ground floor has three windows that are similar but consist of three lights each. There are two square-headed doorways: one is plain, and the other, located to the right, has an architrave surround and a moulded triangular pediment supported by cut stone brackets. At the rear, there is a two-storey gabled extension.
