Description

Prospect House is an early 18th-century house with an addition from the 19th century, located in Cameley, Temple Cloud. The house is constructed of rendered and colourwashed rubble, with a pantile roof. The main block is two storeys high with three windows, and there is a two-storey, single-window extension to the south. The windows in the 18th-century wing are two-light, ovolo-moulded mullion windows with two panes to each casement. Each window has a raised keystone, and those on the ground floor are set above a projecting string course. The central upper window was blocked and subsequently reopened as an oculus. The 19th-century wing features two-light casement windows. A 20th-century gabled stone porch has been added. There are three brick stacks.
