Description

This is a mid-18th century house situated on the east side of Upper Bristol Road in Clutton. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings, and it has a double Roman tile roof. It is two storeys high with a facade of three windows, plus a single-bay garage extension with a room above. The windows are predominantly three-light mullioned windows with 19th-century casements and 20th-century external shutters. The central upper window is round-arched with a single-light 19th-century casement, and the window above the garage is a three-light 19th-century casement. A central doorway features a chamfered architrave and a flat hood supported by carved brackets. A 20th-century glazed door is in place. The house has two brick stacks.
