Description
Gates, piers, and flanking walls located at the end of the drive and about 100 meters southeast of Renny's, date from around 1800. They are made of rubble, freestone, and wrought and cast iron. The structure features two square piers with recessed panels, which stand on a plinth with a rubbing stone, cornice, and hipped caps. The attached gates have two tiers of spearhead rails, with the center section being shorter, and a frieze adorned with paterae. Each pier has a curved flank wall made of coped rubble that extends about 5 meters.
