Description
Basset Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse in Claverton. It is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone quoins and dressings, and has a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges and ashlar end stacks. The farmhouse is three storeys high and has three bays. It features 3-light casement windows set within edge roll moulded surrounds, and beneath continuous string courses. A 20th-century door is positioned off-centre, set within an edge roll moulded surround and covered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
