Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located three yards to the east of the chancel of the parish church in Wellow. It features corner balusters, square panels, and a frieze decorated with swags. The chest tombs in this area represent a notable collection of classical and traditional local tomb styles, enhancing the church's setting.
