Description

This is an irregular terrace house, now a shop, likely designed around 1827–30 by H.E. Goodridge as part of the development of Cleveland Place and Bridge for the Bathwick Estate. It is set back and lower than the buildings next to it. The exterior is limestone ashlar, with an unseen roof, a small dormer, and a moulded stack on the right party wall. The house is three storeys and has an attic. The front is symmetrical, with two windows. It features a coped parapet and cornice, with four/four pane sash windows to the second floor. The first floor has two/two pane sashes with horizontal glazing bars, horns, cornices on consoles, and low balconettes. A four-panel door with a narrow overlight is located to the left of a late 20th-century shopfront, flanked by banded pilasters. The interior has not been inspected. Alterations occurred in the late 20th century.
